Terms of Play
These terms cover Fly Roadstar, its website and its rewards. By creating an account or playing as a guest you agree to them. “We” means NewDevs.
1. Who can play
Anyone can play every mode. Earning points and $FRS rewards, duels, withdrawals and buying In-game $FRS are only for people who are 18 or older and allowed to use them where they live; you confirm your age (one tap) before you earn or buy. Third-party ads are only shown to players who have confirmed they are 18 or older (section 9). We may block regions where rewards, purchases or tokens are restricted.
2. Definitions: two kinds of $FRS
- $FRS you won (shown as “$FRS · withdrawable”) is credit from the daily reward pool. You can spend it in the game, or claim it to your verified wallet as the $FRS token under the withdrawal rules in section 7.
- In-game $FRS (shown as “$FRS · in-game only”, with a padlock) is bought with money in packs. It is a limited, revocable licence to use content in the game. It is not the $FRS token, not e-money and not a financial product, and it has no cash value. It can’t be withdrawn, redeemed, transferred, sold, swapped, or turned into won $FRS, points or the token. It never counts toward holding tiers. It is forfeited when your account is closed.
- No purchase affects payouts. No purchase, ad, revive or In-game $FRS improves anyone’s chance to win $FRS: revived runs never rank in the Championship, In-game $FRS never counts for tiers, and points come from play only. This stays true for anything we sell in future.
3. Your account
Keep your password and your wallet private and your details accurate. One person, one account, and one account per wallet. You can sign in with a wallet you verify by signature (Sign-In with Ethereum): that wallet is then your account, and an email and password are optional. Guest progress stays on one device until you connect a wallet or create an account; a guest left behind is never merged into another account.
4. Fair play
- Every run is replayed on our servers. A run only counts if the replay matches what your game reported.
- Bots, scripts, modified clients, speed tools, shared or bought accounts, and borrowing someone else’s wallet are not allowed.
- Runs with unusual input timing may be held for review. Held runs and held credits pay nothing until a person clears them.
- Ranked runs (Daily, Core and Duel) must be played in real time. Slowed, paused-to-plan or scripted play is flagged and held. Training speed is for Free Run only; those runs earn Bolts but never enter any board.
- Duels are matched at random. Arranging duels, sharing a course’s inputs or running several accounts against each other is not allowed.
- We can reject runs, void points, reject held credits, remove leaderboard entries and close accounts that break these rules.
5. Fuel Cells, cosmetics and purchases
Fuel Cells, Bolts, cosmetics, the Starter Pack and the Launch Pass are licences to use features in the game. They have no cash value, can’t be withdrawn or traded, and never turn into points or $FRS. Bolts are earned by playing and are never sold. Pickups on the course are the same for everyone and are never sold. Crates are earned by winning duels and are never sold; a crate’s points are fixed and only its extra item is chosen by chance, with the odds shown in the game.
Fuel Cells, No Ads, the Starter Pack and the Launch Pass are priced in $FRS. You can pay three ways: from your balances in the game, from your verified wallet on-chain, or, for In-game $FRS itself, with money (section 6). Premium cosmetics are bought with Fuel Cells and common ones with Bolts.
- From your balances. A purchase takes In-game $FRS first, then $FRS you won, in one step, and its receipt records both parts. A refund returns each part to the balance it came from.
- From your wallet. $FRS is sent from your verified wallet to the RewardPool contract on Robinhood Chain. Send exactly the amount the game shows: its last digits identify your order. An on-chain payment can’t be reversed by us; if one doesn’t match an order, support can credit it to your order or send it back to the wallet it came from. A payment that later disappears from the chain (a reorganisation) is reversed in the game too.
- Prices keep their dollar value. Shop prices in $FRS follow the token’s market price once a week (Mondays, 00:00 UTC), by at most 25% a week, so an item costs about the same in money over time. The game shows the price before you pay, and never charges a price you didn’t see.
- Nothing random is sold. Crates are earned by winning duels and are never sold, for money, $FRS of either kind or Fuel Cells.
6. Buying In-game $FRS with money
- Packs of In-game $FRS are sold for money through Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or Paystack, on their own payment pages. They process the payment; we never see your card or bank details. Purchases are for players 18 or older.
- Prices include taxes where the law requires it. The game shows the price in your currency, the amount of In-game $FRS, and that it can’t be withdrawn and isn’t the token, before you pay.
- Your right to cancel. In-game $FRS is delivered immediately. Before you pay, you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that, once it is delivered, you lose your 14-day right to cancel (withdraw from) the purchase under EU and UK digital-content rules. We confirm this on a durable medium: the payment provider’s email receipt, and your order history in the game, which shows “You asked for immediate delivery on” the date you did.
- Refunds. Refunds are at our discretion, or where the law requires them. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the In-game $FRS it bought is removed. If you had already spent it, your In-game balance can go below zero, and spending is blocked until it is cleared (a new pack clears it first). Won $FRS, withdrawals and items you already have are not touched.
- There are limits on how much In-game $FRS an account can buy in a day and in 30 days.
7. Points and $FRS rewards
- Rewards come only from the world pool: 18% of the $FRS supply (180,000,000 $FRS), held by the RewardPool contract on Robinhood Chain, which releases at most 0.5% of it (900,000 $FRS) a day. We set each day’s pool at or below that.
- Each day’s pool is split into categories (Play, Starter, Duels & crates, Championship). Points you earn in a category on verified play are your share of its budget, up to a per-account cap. Points count until 00:00 UTC, and your estimate changes until the day is closed at 00:35 UTC.
- Holders (a wallet you verified by signature and a hold tier) earn in Play, Duels and the Championship. Players 18 and over without a tier, guests included, earn only in the smaller Starter category, with limits per network address.
- At the close, your share is credited to your $FRS balance in the game. Without a verified wallet it is held in your Vault: it is released to your balance after you verify a wallet, once your account is at least 3 days old and has verified runs on at least 3 different days. Vault credit that isn’t claimed within 30 days returns to the world pool. Credits may also be held for review; rejected credits return to the world pool.
- You withdraw your balance to your verified wallet with a claim: we sign it for that wallet and amount, and it is sent to the RewardPool contract on Robinhood Chain, which pays you. Each claim works once and expires after a short time. There is a minimum withdrawal (250 $FRS at launch; we may change it). A newly verified wallet waits 72 hours before it can receive withdrawals. Limits per withdrawal and per day, a cooldown between withdrawals, the contract’s own daily limits, and reviews of large or first withdrawals apply. Where the game offers to send the claim for you, we pay its network fee; when your wallet sends it, your wallet pays the fee, in ETH on Robinhood Chain. If the network doesn’t accept a claim, nothing is paid and its amount returns to your balance.
- Withdrawals can pause while we check something, and the RewardPool can be paused for safety. Your in-game balance stays yours while they are paused.
- If you delete your account with $FRS still in your balance, you give that balance up and it returns to the world pool. In-game $FRS is forfeited with the account.
- Only won $FRS can ever be withdrawn. In-game $FRS is never part of a withdrawal, a withdrawal limit or a claim.
- Rewards are not wages, interest or a return on anything you bought. We may change pool rules for future days with notice on this site.
8. Token risk
$FRS is an ERC-20 token on Robinhood Chain, deployed by us: a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 $FRS, minted once, with no owner and no way to mint more. Its price can fall to zero. Buying it happens on third-party exchanges with their own terms; we don’t operate them. Transactions on Robinhood Chain are public and final: we can’t reverse a transfer, a claim or a payment you send. Nothing in the game or on this site is investment, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for your wallet, your keys and any taxes on what you receive.
Robinhood Chain. Fly Roadster is deployed on Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer 2 network built on Arbitrum. We don’t run it, and we aren’t affiliated with its operators or with any wallet provider. Using it carries risks we can’t control:
- It has a single sequencer, the one service that orders its transactions. If the sequencer stops or slows down, claims, payments and transfers wait until it recovers.
- It can be upgraded, in an emergency without delay, and its operators can restrict or block wallet addresses. A transaction linked to a sanctioned address is excluded and never reaches the chain, whoever sends it, so we can’t pay a claim to a wallet the network refuses.
- Its public connection point (the public RPC) may be throttled or discontinued without notice, which can slow or stop the game’s wallet features until we switch to another.
- A transaction lands in seconds and is final on Robinhood Chain in about 15–20 minutes, once it is settled on Ethereum. Delays in posting to Ethereum can make that take longer.
9. Ads and sponsors
- Interstitial ads may show after a match or before one after a break, under one shared limit, and never in your first runs, over a crash, a revive, a claim or a payment. No Ads (30 days, or forever), the Launch Pass (until the end of its season) and holding the Driver tier turn them off.
- Rewarded ads are your choice. They give only in-game items: a revive, double a run’s Bolts, or a Fuel Cell, within daily limits. They never give points or $FRS, and a revived run never counts for the Championship.
- Third-party ads (Google) are only shown to players who have confirmed they are 18 or older. Everyone else sees our own house ads, which use no personal data. The ad partners and the consent tools are named in the Privacy Notice.
- Sponsor names may appear in the game world. Sponsors don’t change gameplay or rewards.
10. Changes and ending
We may update the game, these terms and the rules, and will post changes here. You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
11. Liability
The game is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, token price changes, Robinhood Chain network outages or congestion, wallet addresses the network restricts or blocks, or lost access to wallets.
